Couples photo spots in New York
I photograph couples in New York. These are the places I actually use. They are not a ranked list. They are the blocks that fit the way a day feels.
The neighborhoods
The Brooklyn Bridge works in the morning, with the water and the skyline behind you. Brooklyn Heights is the promenade and the stone. The West Village is a narrow street, and a dress in the wind. SoHo is better at the end of the day, when the cast iron goes warm.
Central Park is for the quiet paths. The Upper West Side is trees and apartment stone, close to the park. Midtown only if the architecture is the point. A church uptown, if that is the ceremony. A staircase in the apartment, if the day is smaller. A rooftop, when you want the skyline close.
You do not have to know the corner before you write. Tell me how you want the day to feel, and I will suggest a few places that fit the light.
The session
An engagement session is $950. That is up to 90 minutes, one or two locations, one outfit change, 40 or more edited images, and styling and posing guidance. A Signature Session is $750. A Mini is $350. Film is $950. Weddings are by inquiry.
The pictures come back in a private gallery. If you want a date, tell me whether it is an engagement or a wedding, and the neighborhood if you already love one.
