I photograph in New York.

I’m Sarah. The days are couples, fashion, and brand.

Couples are engagements and weddings. A few hours, or the whole day. We pick the neighborhood together. A morning by the Brooklyn Bridge. Brooklyn Heights, if you want the promenade and the stone. A narrow street in the West Village. SoHo when the cast iron goes warm. Central Park when the paths are quiet. The Upper West Side, if you want trees and apartment stone. A church, an apartment staircase, or a rooftop, if that is the day.

Fashion is a lookbook, a show, or a campaign. I shoot the walk, the face, and the detail the clothes need. A neckline, a shoe, the way a skirt moves. Brand is a founder, a shop, a launch, or a team. The pictures should introduce you before anyone reads a long page.

I plan the frames with you, then I shoot. The crew stays small. It is usually just me. I use the light that is already in the room. A late sun, shade on a block, a window. You get the pictures in a private gallery.
